Set-up Pre-Authorized Payments
Pre-Authorized Payment is an easier and more convenient way to pay your AMS bill. Here’s how it works:
- Complete our online Pre-Authorized Payment Plan Form. Please be advised, you will need a copy of a void cheque and your banking information to complete the form.
- You will receive your bill the same way as you always have in the past. On the due date, your bill is automatically paid from your bank account. You always know beforehand how much it is and when the money comes out of your bank account.
Instead of sending us your cheque when you get your bill, the payment comes directly from your bank account on the due date. It is 100% secure and your bill is always paid on time.

Pay Through Your Financial Institution
Most banks allow you to pay your bill through online banking, in person or over the telephone.
It’s important to know that it can take 3-5 working days for AMS to receive your payment from the bank. Please be sure to allow enough time for your payment to reach us by the due date.
Pay By Credit Card
You can also pay your AMS invoice by Visa, MasterCard and American Express using a bill payment system powered by Paymentus Corporation. Please note that Paymentus charges a service fee for paying bills using this service.

Mail Your Payment to AMS
Your monthly bill can be paid by cheque, made payable to Alliance Metering Solutions. Remember to include your bill remittance stub with the cheque and to write your account number on the memo note line of the cheque.
